This appears to be a late production run variant of Deinosuchus, it was reportedly purchased in Florida in 2017, and the 3-line imprint stamp style suggests a 2012 era mold update. It has a much more uniform and darker green paint application, and retains the gray eye with black pupil as the early 2000s variants.

  1. I believe there may be another, later version of the Deinosuchus released. My first instinct was to say around 2007, but after comparison with the other figures rereleased at that time I think it could possibly be even later. It has an updated stamp and now reads "Carnegie INST." instead of just "Carnegie" or "The Carnegie"
Would you like me to email you so I can notify you of some other differences, and perhaps you can try to pinpoint its spot on the timeline?

    1. Yes, that would be great - sounds really interesting, I'm not sure I've ever some across the "Carnegie Inst." imprint before...
